Touza Vella was named among the winners of the 30th edition of the World Cheese Awards in London, standing out from the crowd as more than 3,000 cheeses were judged in a single day.

With this cheese he received the Silver at the World Cheese Awards 2017 , a hard cheese whose most outstanding features are the clean cut, its aroma of toasted almonds and its intense and balanced flavor lasting on the palate. This cheese is made with raw goat’s milk from our own production and with a natural mouldy rind.

Touza Vella goat cheese is matured for 2 months.

Also, it is important to highlight the soft aroma with a slight spicy taste that makes it characteristic.

This semi-cured cheese is a food rich in vitamin B9 as 100 gr. of this cheese contains 125 ug. of vitamin B9.

It also has a high amount of vitamin B2, 0.77 mg per 100 gr.
