Actually the choricero pepper meat is not a sauce but a spice to enhance the flavor of thousands of stews. It is the pulp of sun-dried glass peppers (choriceros), nothing else.
With its intense flavour of dried pepper, it is an indispensable ingredient in any self-respecting kitchen.
It is also very healthy: 2.8% fat and low in salt: only 0.01 gr. per 100 gr. of product.
