All the raw material comes from the beaches of Fisterra, O Grove and Ribeira, and its capture is done by diving, which means that its extraction depends on the state of the sea. At the factory it is cleaned and washed in warm salt water to select the best size pieces and carefully packed in the can.

The mussels are received at the factory, cleaned and washed.

Once cleaned, fry them in olive oil, add the sauce made from olive oil, vinegar, paprika and salt, and on the other side the bay leaf, pepper and cloves.

Finally the pickled mussels are closed and sterilized for preservation.

Octopus in olive oil by Conservas Los Peperetes.

We receive fresh octopus from the best Galician fish markets. Once in their facilities, they proceed to clean them for subsequent freezing. A necessary process to break the fibers of the meat and thus achieve the right tenderness.

Once the necessary time has elapsed to reach the desired tenderness, the pieces are cooked with water, salt and onion for the appropriate time depending on their size. Once cooked, it is drained and left to cool for a few hours, then cut and presented neatly, incorporating olive oil that gives it an excellent conservation.

For its consumption it is advisable to add sweet or spicy paprika to taste.

Ingredients: Sardines, olive oil and salt.

Once washed in warm brine and meticulously cleaned, it is subjected to a steam bath so that it acquires the appropriate hardness and does not break. They are then manually placed in the can and to preserve their flavour and texture, the best quality olive oil is used as a covering liquid.

After the sardines have been meticulously cleaned and washed in brine, they are cooked in a steam bath so that they become hard. After being placed in the can, the covering liquid is added, based on olive oil, red pepper, onion, garlic and natural spices, before sealing. Cod is one of the greatest delicacies of our seas. During its elaboration process, it is lightly cooked and the skin and bone are manually removed.
