Piquillo peppers stuffed with lobster and scallops from Conservas Rosara.

We select the best Piquillo peppers and roast them with beech wood. We peel them without water so that they do not lose their flavour, fill them with a delicate lobster and scallop béchamel sauce and finish the dish with a wonderful red wine sauce. It is a very laborious process with a delicious and healthy result: only 2.3% fat and gluten-free.

Ingredients: Piquillo peppers (38%), fish stock, scallops (5%), lobster (3%), red wine (3%), onion, vegetable oil (sunflower), carrot, flour, milk, rice, sugar, vegetables, salt, garlic, nuts and spices.

We select the best Piquillo peppers from Lodosa D.O. and we roast them with beech wood. We peel them without water so that they do not lose their flavour, fill them with a delicate seafood béchamel sauce (lobster, prawns and shrimps) and accompany them with a delicious seafood-based sauce. It is a very laborious process with a delicious and healthy result: low in fat (2.4%) and salt (0.26 gr. per 100 gr. of product). Although our production is supervised by the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin: Piquillo peppers from Lodosa and the peppers used for this product are covered by the D.O., the Council only recognises with the numbered back label the peppers packed in their juice (whole, strips or pieces) and not those that are already cooked.

Suggestions:

Our stuffed peppers are very delicate, it is recommended to open the can, take out the peppers one by one with a spoon and then pour the sauce on top. The best way to heat it is in a bain-marie (before opening the container), in the oven at a medium temperature or in a casserole over a low heat. It can be served with boiled and peeled prawns, boiled crabs, grilled langoustines and any other seafood.
